President’s Prerogative of Clemency in Bangladesh: An Analysis

The President of Bangladesh is the constitutional head of the state. But the “Prerogative of Clemency of the President” can be exercised with the advice of the ministerial direction. The President is to act according to the wish or advice of the Prime Minister and he cannot apply his individual discretion.
