Mr. Sobhit Bikash Barua, FCMA is the son of Late Kiriti Bikash Barua & Basumati Barua. He obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Govt. College of Commerce, Chittagong under the University of Chittagong in 1979. He qualified as a Cost & Management Accountant (CMA) in July 1989.

He became a Fellow Member of the Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) in November 1995. He was the Chairman of ICMAB, Chittagong Branch Council and practiced as a Cost & Management Accountant & Consultant.

Professional Journey

He served as Senior Director with Sunman Group of Companies and Finance Director of Super Group of Companies. His illustrious career includes positions at Apex Tannery Group, Desh Group of Companies, Saleh Group of Industries, BSA Garments Industries and the Office of the Director of Audit (Works), Government of Bangladesh.

As an entrepreneur, he acted as the Managing Director of Tube Rose Clothing Ltd. & Nucon Garments Ltd. He has attended numerous training programs, workshops, and international conferences globally.
