The University of Information Technology and Sciences (UITS) is delighted to announce that two batches of students have been selected to participate in the 2026 World Friends Korea (WFK) IT Online Training Program, a prestigious international initiative supported by South Korea's National Information Society Agency (NIA) and Organized through the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), UITS, the program is being conducted by a talented KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) Student Volunteer Team from Daejeon, South Korea, from 13 July to 3 August 2026.
During this intensive online training program, UITS students are gaining practical knowledge and hands-on experience in cutting-edge technologies, including:
🤖 Artificial Intelligence (AI)
🧠 Machine Learning (ML)
🐍 Python Programming
💻 Vibe Coding & Modern AI-Assisted Software Development
🚀 Emerging Digital Technologies
Beyond technical training, participants will work in teams to develop innovative projects during a three-week project competition. The projects will be jointly evaluated by KAIST and UITS, with awards presented to the top three outstanding teams.
